Many have travelled overseas for business, leisure, or even attending certain entertainment events, and it has been a widely shared hobby before the pandemic hits globally. It goes the same for me until my recent visit to a country I consider familiar with, Taiwan. This trip has triggered much thinking, and I am thrilled with the discovery.

ESG has been a risen topic in recent years, and recent research shows that companies with strong ESG performance tend to have better financial performance and greater customer loyalty. ESG Association of Malaysia originates from the experiences of professionals coming from the business, academic, financial, legal world and the third sector, which is a need in aiding Malaysia to contribute to its transition towards sustainability. Thus, our association will be the catalyst, facilitator, and enabler for ESG adoption and development in Malaysia, delivering on the Sustainable Development Goals call to action plan adopted by The United Nations.
